Ooofff! This one's chocablock for you!
I've done the photos first and actually I'm going let them speak for themselves....
Safdarjung Tomb In Dehli, we had the place almost to ourselves apart from a busload of school kids (the entire line of them wanted to shake hands or do high fives, so cute!).
There was scaffolding up, but it still looked so beautiful...
Full disclosure, I got as far as these and decided to switch gear and group the photos by colour. I absolutely love moodboards like this and since I'm not even pretending to be a travel guide, you might indeed feel the same. I am happy to answer any questions about where we went but this post is mostly about remembering the colours and textures and basically incredible inspiration that surrounded us at all times!
As you can see we're getting brighter and brighter and warmer and warmer!
Top spot in the bottom righthand corner, the thali we had at a crazy cool local tourist place called Choki Dhani was absolutely mindblowingly spicy. It came with a glass of buttermilk and a lump of brown sugar mixed with ghee and I swore I wouldn't be going near either but by the end I was gulping it down!! Anything to cope with the heat which definitely got the better of me...
A natural progression to reds and pinks.
a pop of purple...
Skipping blue, of course, and straight to greens...
Of course my colour palette always includes monochrome...
Well thats it for my mood boards of India hope you liked this little rainbow walk through the rest of Jaipur and Dehli, just looking at them now, I can't beleive it's been nearly a year, I'd love to go back!
