Articulated Paper Doll

As with many of my creative explorations, I've had it in mind to make articulated dolls for a very long time. I spent ages finding the little pins that link the limbs together but its been so long ago now that I've not only forgotten where I bought them but also what they're actually called!

If this is how my brain works now, I have no idea how I'm going to make it through menopause....

(Forcing myself to stay focused and not go off down a rabbit hole of looking for said pins via google immeadiately...!!)

Anyway, the base for this very first attempt is kraft card, but still not really sturdy enough to keep from warping once its been painted.

I tried to keep it as simple as I possibly could. I think this is the bare minium for me and I would love it if I could stick to this formula for all my work!

A little bit regency, a little bit venice, and a hint of ballet...

I'm hoping to make a few with the kids during this summer so watch this space for the next one!
